Edmonton & Area Intergroup

The Intergroup Committee is an AA service structure that involves a partnership among groups in a community – just as AA groups themselves are partnerships of individuals. An intergroup committee is established to carry out certain functions common to all the groups, functions which are best handled in a centralized manner usually through the creation of a central office.  It exists to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
